The 2008 SDKA Championship Season kicks off this Sunday, January 27th at Qualcomm Stadium on the West Course #3 - Reverse (CCW). We ran this same layout last September.
Registration and Pre-Race Safety Tech open at 7am.
Track Setup will begin 7:30-8am. Members are required to perform two (2) track setups and two (2) track teardowns to qualify for year end awards.
Driver's Meeting - 8:30am
Practice - 9am by groups: Kids Karts, Juniors, Senior Pipe/Cans, TaG, and Shifters; 5-minutes each; two rounds. TaG and Shifters may be split into smaller groups, if the numbers warrant.
Qualifying (AMB Transponders required) follows practice around 10:30-11am. Qualifying and race order will be posted during practice but always begins with the Kids Karts.
We're expecting a larger than normal turnout as the SKUSA WinterNationals Rounds #3 and #4 will be racing on the same West Course #3 (CCW) the following weekend; February 1-3. TaG and Shifter classes should be full.
Come prepared with the Registration and Pre-Race Safety Tech Forms completed, and your check filled out. Send me a private message to billc@dprinc.com; I'll email you the forms, if you don't have them.
Sorry, SDKA does not have preregistration.
There is no fuel vendor at SDKA events. I can also email you the SDKA fuel program, if you aren't familiar.
Eagle One Motorsports will be providing complimentary hot coffee and fruit in the morning; hamburgers, hotdogs and chicken on the barbeque for lunch.
Pit Area will be inside the Ring Road in the customary spot; however, we will be arranging the pit configuration differently because of the large turnout. Watch for and follow instructions of the officials helping in the Pit Area.
