Does anyone know if there are any restrictions at all on 125 open shifter exhaust? I got a free FMF silencer for a Kawasaki 125 (the motor I'm running), and it seems much louder than the previous silencer. I know I cant run it at Moran, but can I use it at Cajon? Also, because of the configuration of this old pipe, the exhaust outlet points upwards at about a 30 degree angle. Is this legal in this club, or am I gonna get snubbed?
Any help would be appreciated!

jeff,
in the open class you can run whatever you want. The only noise ordinace i know of at cajon is that you cant start your engine till 9. Hope that helps. I wont be at the next race ill be up at willow... have fun.

I've never heard of exhaust being an tech issue on any shifter class other than 60's way back in the day when they were first coming around. You may want to check how the silencer you got works with your motor. You may find that it affects your power at certain RPM ranges, and you may want to invest in an a programable ignition this way you can affect the way in which your powerband retards.
