I am trying to determine the Dellorto carb jet settings for my Rotax engine using MS93 fuel which is required for Club Rotax class this season. According to my MaxJet software the main jet should be leaner than the main jet using MS98 in the same ambient conditions. Does anyone know if that is correct, because it seems like it would be the opposite to me.

Do you have the updated Maxjet version 1.76? There was a problem with the fuel selector in the prior versions of Maxjet 1.7. The 1.76 update fixed the issues.
You should email support@maxjet.ca for the update or if you aren't sure which version you have.

Thanks for the feedback Jeff. I have contacted Maxjet for the update. Are both the PC and Palm applications affected by the software error, or is one of them correct?

To my knowledge it was both PC and Palm versions.
What causes the different jet recommendations between MS93 and MS98 is the 'specific gravity' number of each fuel. The octane numbers don't really have much if any impact. You can see this by playing with the octane and specific gravity slide bars in the Maxjet options screen.
