I'm young (20) and new to this whole kart racing deal. I'd like to know if there is anyone out there that can help me out. I've got a few questions. One, is there anyway to work up into other types of cars, like modifieds? Two, is there any money you can win? Three, anyway someone can let me drive for them, coach me, ect. Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Brian, Did that have to do with hay bales and other moving objects like karts???. Boy you're cold.
To youngster, we dont really have anyone that is looking for a driver, just about everyone drives their own. You can get in a good used kart for about $3000 to $3500. Anyone at the race will be glad to give you help. Many top drivers get into cars thru karts, the son of the KRT kart builder in Carlsbad just got into Formula BMW thru racing his dads kart. No real money to win locally, maybe if you go national to the big races. We race this Sunday, 03/20/05 at El Cajon, public welcome.

I haven’t received the bill for the hay bales yet, now my total just went up! You know I don’t mean any harm Ed…I’m just feeling a little playful today.
