Dug this rolling chassis out of the garage last week after sitting for 3-4 years when plans to build it went south.. So here I am clueless as to even what type of kart I have? Can't seem to find anything on chassis at all saying what it is except for the billet hub carriers in the rear that say invader on them.. The tires are 11.5 wide if that helps at all
If I could have some insight on what to call this thing that would be great!
Also I have this urge to make this thing go!! looking at motors to put in without droppin a months rent on something.. LOL
i have thoughts about dropping my heavily modded crf250 motor in it from my old race bike... But I start having second thoughts about it when I realize I have no front brakes.... That would probably be my fastest option for this kart.. Lol so it seems like a 125 or a kt 100 motor??
from my research it seems to be that the knock off brigs and Stratton motors are pretty tourqy and more reliable being a 4 stroke .but something about a souped up motor that I probably could have gotten at harbor frieght doesn't exactly seem like a disierable route to go if you have any kind of racing or mechanical background..
Need your thoughts and opinions guys!! I have a goal to be able to hit Qualcomm sometime in March and see what this thing can do!
Anything helps I need tires, a motor and all hardware I would need to install let me know if u have anything!
thanks guys,
ryan
