Newbie here Whats a good starting point gearing for Qualcomm west? (PRD Fireball/TAG/Senior)

Arther, Welcome to SDKA. Generally I would say if you have an 11 tooth clutch gear you can start with a 79 axel gear and adjust from that.

Thanks Doug! I do have a 11 tooth clutch gear and happen to have a 79 axle gear. Cool.. Maybe I'll get a few +/-

Your Welcome. I'd say would want to bring an 80 & 81 You can get a 78 but if you are new to racing you'll want to stay in the larger gears till you get some seat time. I'll see you at the track.

So per Spec PRD / IKF Rules - Spec PRD Gearing is to be +/- 1 tooth from the race directors discretion to maintain a specific rpm of 14500-15500 in PRD Senior ...I know what we use at CalSpeed for this class in LAKC, Tri-C ect ect, what ring gear will SDKA be going with?
