This note is for anyone planning to race TAG with SDKA in 2013. With the new weights for TAG - what class will you be running? It looks like the new weights are - Senior at 370 or Masters at 400? Note as well that PRD will run with TAG but will be scored separately.
Please reply here, so we can fill out our 2013 registrations accordingly......time is ticking...... but in my withdrawal state, it can't get here soon enough!

Hey Don, As you can guess, I'll be running Masters. I may be the only guy in the class.

Thanks for the response, Doug. Was hoping for some more insight, but guess I will show up in February with a plan to be "flexible" regarding weight class.

Hey Don,
It looks like I will be running TaG Senior. I just can't add more lead to the kart. Sorry it took me so long to respond.
How is that new chassis coming along?
Bill

I have to agree with you Bill, I can't add another oz of lead. I will likely go with TaG senior.

Thanks for the updates, everyone. It looks like we may have enough participants in both TAG classes - Senior AND Masters - this year. That makes for more fun on raceday if there are 3+ entries in each class. I still haven't decided - running Senior depends on how well my New Year's resolution sticks.... besides I would hate getting lapped by Doug Edwards if he is running 30 pounds more than me!

Don - obviously Conor would run Senior, and I'd be running Senior as well, even considering the five extra I've added over the holidays. Say, what's this about a new chassis?

Hal,
Glad we'll get to see you and Conor this year.
Regarding the chassis, the designation "new" is relative. It is actually a used CRG, but with a 50mm axle, and not nearly as thrashed as the frame I've been abusing at the track for years, so yes, I will have a "new" chassis for this season. Whether that translates to speed is still an open question!
